About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
This conversation is for individual contributors
Individual contributors are people not yet in traditional leadership positions who make a direct and immediate difference to the agency. The work is largely operational, often at the frontline and in a defined area of responsibility with personal accountability for delivering excellence.
Grow With Purpose: Shape your performance development with clarity and confidence
Growth begins with a desire to be better, be open and have the willingness to change.
Your own personal and professional growth is your responsibility. When you are clear on your goals, you can better use performance development conversations with your manager to advocate for yourself, demonstrate personal leadership and a willingness to grow and add further value.
Sometimes that is easier said than done – especially if you don’t know where to start.
This conversation helps you approach your performance development with clarity and confidence and create an action plan for success. Explore how to identify improvement areas, articulate your goals well and understand what you need to do to take ownership of your development.
This interactive online webinar helps you to:
- recognise the importance and benefits of taking ownership of your own development and growth
- learn how to effectively prepare for performance development conversations through reflection, self awareness and a clear understanding of your role and responsibilities
- develop meaningful performance and development goals that are real, relevant and results driven
- plan for long term success through cultivating a growth mindset and creating an action plan with micro goals and milestone tracking
This conversation is a focus for those in the Personal Leadership context and supports development in the following expected behaviours set out in Leadership Expectations:
- Leading adaptively
- Building capability
- Delivering on high leverage areas
